A Casey's store called late in the day Friday about 70 miles East of
me. This is not one of my normal Casey's I service but someone
tried to drill this safe and after two days gave up. The manager
told me they were told to get someone with a jack hammer because the
bolts were drilled off and it would not open. Here is what I
found, 10 holes. None of the center holes penetrated the hard
plate. The hardplate had a shiny spots but no holes. Picture
# 1, 6 o'clock, you can still se one bolt in the hole. It looks
like they drilled into the bolt and it went off to one side. There
is a small hole also in the bolt ??? Tried to push it inward
or something. I used one of Bob Stabley's punches and it was
gone. I added one more hole in between the group of three holes in
picture # 4 and it was opened. I just wonder what they were
charged for the first job. Thank you Bob Stabley for all the great
tools and Strong Arm for the great drill bits.
The right tool makes the job easier...
